In October 2024, we began test filming for our next short film, DIANA. DIANA is a story about a relationship between a young English girl who finds a friend in an elderly Italian lady who believes herself to be the reincarnation of the Roman goddess Diana. The story is set in Nemi, a magical Italian village perched above a volcanic lake that seethes with mythologies. Our approach will be to script minimal dialogue, letting physicality and unspoken moments guide the narrative.

Our aim as directors is to explore a ‘reality’ where the boundaries between fantasy and phantasy are blurred. What you have, do, or desire are total reflections of your internal reality. If a woman lives on a lake and believes herself to be the reincarnation of the Roman goddess of wild animals and the hunt, does this not become her reality?
