Elio: A Drawing in Steel
Our latest short film introducing Pegoretti’s Elio bike focuses on the fundamentals of steel, craft, and cycling in motion. Produced in collaboration with Rome-based Hubris Pictures, the film moves between the Pegoretti Officina in Verona - where every frame is handmade, guided by experience rather than automation - and the mountains of the Parco Naturale Regionale della Lessinia, where Elio is ridden through dramatic landscapes that highlight its precision and responsiveness.
A 1-minute version of a longer film set to land in August, Elio: A Drawing in Steel introduces Pegoretti’s latest road bicycle. Elio, named after the first child of Pegoretti artisan Leonardo, is the result of months of focused development and refinement. The film introduces Elio and explains Pegoretti’s enduring love of steel, its feel, its potential, and its place in the world of handmade bikes.
