The Palace Collection

For the jewellery brand Boodles and their collaboration with Historic Royal Palaces, we produced a film exploring the inspiration behind the Palace Collection, a body of jewellery shaped by the architecture, history and decorative detail of some of Britain’s most iconic royal residences. The film will be shown in the Boodles showrooms across the UK.

Filmed across Hampton Court Palace, Kensington Palace, the Boodles showroom and their workshop, the film moves between the grandeur of the palaces and the precision of the jeweller’s craft. We wanted to create a visual dialogue between the original sources of inspiration and the finished pieces themselves, tracing how historical motifs, colours, textures and stories are transformed into contemporary jewellery.
